What is the privacy and cookie policy?

The processing of your personal data is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (called GDPR in its English version) of 27 April 2016, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. The Regulation entered into force on 24 May 2018. What personal data are we talking about? The data we collect about you personally and how the company uses it. On our website we also use cookies. To find out more, please see point 3 of this page on the Cookie Management Policy. By filling in our forms and browsing our site, you are giving us permission to process your personal data as set out in this privacy policy. We may collect and store the following personal data: Your name, first name, telephone number, e-mail address and postal address; your question about what you want; other data you provide to us. All this information is referred to below as “PDS” for Personal Data.

Processing of your personal data

The personal data to which we have access may be collected in the following ways: from you directly in the course of an exchange of verbal or written information; on forms on this site; when you create an account; when you purchase a good or service; when you contact us; when you use our website, mobile applications and social media pages; when we have obtained it through regulated access to authentic public sources. All of these sources are supplemented by the use of cookies (see point 3 of this page on Cookie Management Policy). This Privacy Policy ensures that your PII is collected and processed in full compliance with applicable Belgian legislation, mainly the Belgian law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy with regard to the processing of PII, as well as the EU Regulation 2016/679 implemented as of 24 May 2018.

Why do we process your data?

We collect and process PII only for specific and limited purposes related to its direct business to ensure optimal communication with its customers and website users. We use your personal data for different purposes which will be systematically proposed to you for your prior consent: to receive a newsletter, to buy a product, to participate in a contest, to attend a promotional event, to share information, etc. But also, they are used for prospecting purposes as well as for situations where the law requires it. For example, in a contractual context, depending on the nature of our service, we may include your personal data or your billing data. We process personal data: To fulfil our legal and contractual obligations; To keep our customers informed of our activities; To promote our activities on our website and in the press. We also process data for the purposes of server and website administration and for statistical analysis and historical studies of its activity.

How long we keep your data

We will only keep your PII for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, and in accordance with legal requirements.

Communication, security and confidentiality of your data

Some of your data may be transmitted to public authorities or to our subcontractors, who act in our name or on our behalf, for processing in accordance with the purposes for which they were collected. Beyond these legal obligations, we undertake never to communicate the data of natural persons to third parties outside the conditions of the law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy with regard to the processing of personal data. We ensure that subcontractors guarantee the same level of protection of PII as it imposes on itself and require a contractual guarantee from the subcontractors that they will process your data exclusively for the authorised purpose, with the required discretion and security. All such sharing will only take place with your consent and provided that each partner enters into an agreement with us. We implement and continuously update administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, destruction or alteration.

Right of access, rectification and objection

We allow you to retain control of your PDS. You can send your request by mail or email, you can at any time exercise your rights in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 Art 15, to request rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), portability (Art. 20), opposition (Art. 21), not to be subject to automated profiling (Art. 22) or to withdraw your consent to the use of your PAD.

What is a cookie?

The different types of cookies

Cookies strictly necessary for navigation. These cookies are required to enable you to visit a website and use certain parts of it. These cookies do not contain any personal data other than the IP address, which is necessary for your navigation on the Internet. Functional cookies

Third party cookies

Tracking Pixels

The tracking pixel allows platforms (generally social networks or webmail services: facebook, google, twitter, …) to qualify the audience of a site by linking it to their own information. These pixels allow the platforms, if you are simultaneously connected to them, to follow your navigation on the site and to establish a profile of your interests. This data is governed by the general conditions of the platforms in question. It is anonymous and does not allow you to be identified as an individual. We use Google Analytics to collect visitor statistics in order to improve our website. The exchange of data with other Google services is disabled and IP addresses are anonymised. This plugin will exclude your visit from the statistics of all websites using Google Analytics.
